Prayer request

Hi all! I know it has been a while and I have a lot of catching up to do. But, that will have to wait! I am needing prayer request for my family. As many of you know my Uncle Jerry suffered from a stroke last saturday. He was put on Life Support and since has shown no improvement. They took him off the LS this morning about 10:00 we are just praying for a peaceful pass when God decides to take him home. Please also pray for my Cousins Brian, Ashley, Greg & their kids as they travel to Kansas. Just keep our family in your prayers as the next few days are going to be very hard. But, thankfully we have a wonderful God to lean on. I read a nice saying today on my Uncle's care page. So I will close with that :::THE WILL OF GOD WILL NEVER TAKE YOU WHERE THE GRACE OF GOD WILL NEVER PROTECT YOU....

New Pet

This morning while I was making beds Rylie was out on the porch making a new friend! This is what I found her doing.

Apparently, this cat has been around children because he just let her hold him and never tried to get away from her. Rylie is in love and said this was her new friend. I asked her what her friends name was and she said she had no idea!ha I guess she doesn't care she just knows she loves this cat. I had to tell her that she could play with the cat outside but she wouldn't be able to bring the cat in, she seemed okay with that. So, I guess if the cat stays around I will be going to get some cat food for Rylie's "New Friend". Hope you all have a great weekend!

Rylie started school today!! She did great, Kevin and I on the other hand not so great! I don't know what we will do when she starts kindergarten.ha The first picture is of her just before we went into her class room. (Sorry these are out of order, still trying to learn)



This is a picture of her in her class. I didn't want to seem to crazy so I tried to not take to many pictures at school. But, the lady in this pic is her teacher, Mrs. Pam, thats easy for us to remember. Pam, you will appreciate this when I told Rylie her teachers name she said is Colby there!! HA

So, all in all it was a good day for her!! Raegan didn't do so well either. When we got home she kept walking through the house yelling for Rylie. She ended up throwing a little fit on the floor and crying herself to sleep. Poor thing, I should have gotten a picture of that!!

School

Well, tomorrow is the BIG day. Rylie will start here first day at her new "school". She is very excited we have everything all together and I think she is set. I will post tomorrow with pics of her big day!!

Learning How To Blog

This is an older pic of the girls. I had Tammy on the phone so she was trying to walk me through adding pics to my blog. So, I didn't have time to really pick a picture. Anyway, I think I get it!! Thanks Tammy!!! I will add more pics later the girls are up from their naps.

Update

I took Raegan to the doctor this morning and apparently she has a severe sinus infection. I guess when they had her on antibotics for her ear infection the sinus stuff was just viral so the meds didn't work on it. But, now that it is full blown infection she is on another round of antibotics. Just pray for her to feel better and be able to get some good rest (okay that one is for me too LOL). Weekend

Hi all! I hope you all had a great weekend. We were pretty busy, Friday night we took Rylie to see the Arkansas Razorback Gymanstic Team(thanks Shawna:) she had such a great time. She got to wear her cheerleading outfit and get her picture taken with a REAL cheerleader she even let her hold her pom pom's. Raegan got to spend the evening with Schonda and Timmy. I think she might have came home a little more spoiled than when she left if that is possible. Saturday was a pretty uneventful day just doing stuff around here. Sunday we went to Church and than over to Kevin's uncles for a b-day dinner. Please keep little Raegie in your prayers as you know we were at the doctor last week with ear and sinus problems and it appears that she isn't getting any better after the round of antibotics. I am going to see how she does tonight and then decide if we need to go back to the doctor tomorrow. I know that she is pretty miserable. That stuff is no fun. OH!! I have big news, We think that we have found a part time preschool for Rylie. It is at the First United Methodist Church, she will be going on Tuesday and Thursday's from 9-2. We are going to try to go for a visit this week and hopefully she can start next week. I think it will be very good for her and I just pray she can adjust pretty easy after being with me all this time. So, basically I guess I have to prayer requests Raegan's Illness and Rylie's new adventure.
Well off to get some rest while my sick sweety is sleeping.

You have to love the ER

Last night was an exciting evening for us. It started about 8:00, Rylie and Raegan were playing after bath time and Rylie ended up either twisting her ankle and then hitting it on the floor somehow. Anyway, she started limping after it happened and told us that it hurt and she couldn't walk on it. Kevin and I watch her for about an hour and decided to go ahead and take her to the ER. We arrived there at 9:30, at 12:30 Kevin came home to try to get some sleep so he could go to work today. Finally, at 1:45 they took X-rays and we finally go put in a room about 2:45. The doctor came in and gave me the good news that nothing was broken but she had bruised/sprained it pretty bad. So, we got home about 4:30 this morning. She can't even walk on it today so I have made her a very comfy place on the couch and we are going to just rest and watch movies today. Hopefully she will be feeling better soon! It is hard to keep a 3 yr old down.

Update

Well, we were right. Raegan has an ear infection in her right ear. Dr put her on antibotics so hopefully she should start feeling better in a few days. She is such a trooper when she is sick so unlike her sister! As many of you know we have struggled with Raegans weight and always kind of worried about how small she is. Well, today I had the doctor put her weight into the growth chart and while she is still only in the 10-20% on her weight for her age he said she is growing so that relieved us alot. He said she is just going to be a little petite thing and that is fine I am just use to Rylie who was always in the 80-90% on her growth chart. But, she weighed in at 20lbs 4 oz. (My newphew who turned 1 on 2/5/09 weighs 20lbs 5oz) . He is just a big boy!!! Okay, I know that I am new at this blogging stuff but do you get an award for 2 posts in one day! Just checking.haha

Winter weather and Illness

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing good after the Ice Storm. We were very excited to get our electricity back after 5 days. After the power came back on Kevin took Rylie out to tell the workers how much we appreciated them. She told them "thank you for the power, daddy, can we turn off the refrigerator now(aka generator)?" So, I guess we were all ready she thought the generator was loud! haha
Well, Raegan is now sick. I think it is a sinus infection but I believe she might have an ear infection now. So, we are headed to the doctor this afternoon. I will try to blog more regularly I know I am not doing very good!
